Transportation between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City

Vietnam Airlines (VN) has numerous flights daily between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on modern wide-body aircraft.

GLoCALL participants may make their reservations through Ms. PHAM Quynh Nga of the Old Street Hotel. Please contact her directly at: [email protected]. She will be present in the reception area of GLoCALL at Hanoi University to give you your tickets and accept payment. The price slowly rises from $87 to $105 so reserve your flight early! There is a $6.50 penalty if the reservation requires rebooking.

On most international airlines that fly to both cities, it is possible to make an "open jaw" reservation, coming into Hanoi and leaving from Ho Chi Minh City at no extra cost.
